This morning four of our runners were invited to the local ABC News Station on the program called 'Talk Of Alabama'

Anchorman and reporter Stoney Sharp gave a very thoughtful interview, asking our runners various questions about the nature and purpose of our four month Peace Run through most of the U.S.A. and some of Canada as well.

Our team met local people in the studio who were happy to hear about our journey for peace.

Running through Birmingham.

The Vulcan statue is the largest cast iron statue in the world, and is the city symbol of Birmingham.

József from Hungary running with the torch as the symbol of Peace Run and in the background the Vulcan statue as the city symbol of Birmingham.

Along the way József met a local veteran runner who was happy to share the torch and offer his wishes and goodwill.

We had to stop to buy groceries for dinner at a Piggly Wiggly, a popular supermarket chain in the South.

Every day we stay at different accommodations, so we have to transfer our luggage from one vehicle to another.

Harita met a local runner, Justice, who was out for his daily run and was thrilled to carry the Peace Torch and share his feelings for peace in the world, and the importance of youth getting fit and taking care of themselves. We were all so happy to meet him!

A moment of Peace before Mananya starts to run.

Beautiful scenery along the way

Michelle Moore accepts our Certificate of Appreciation for offering us some complimentary rooms in their wonderful Holiday Inn Hotel for the night.
